The workerbees at Upton Rd provide an opportunity for volunteers to help maintain the large garden space that surrounds the Upton Rd youth refuge. Based in inner city St Kilda the garden provides a green and therapeutic environment for the residents of Upton Rd. The entire site is maintained through a weekly garden program that is run by staff and attended by onsite residents and other clients of the services. The larger working bees give invaluable support to maintaining what is a large garden space and give volunteers an insight into a youth refuge.
