Team BSE are stepping, cycling and lapping in this year’s 30-Day-Challenge and raising funds for homeless youth!
“Supporting the Property Industry Foundation is a commitment that BSE takes seriously,”
“Youth homelessness affects many, so hopefully our efforts will benefit those in need. We also believe it’s a great opportunity for our team members to focus on their own physical health and take some time away from the computer – there are countless mental and physical benefits to exercising.”
Amelia Fraser, BSE National Strategic Partnerships Coordinator
This year, Team BSE is made up of staff from three of their national offices.
“We’re all getting our steps, cycles and laps in!” reports Amelia. “We’ve got a couple of team walks planned…perhaps with a celebratory beverage at the end. The plan is to get our 30-day challengers out in the sunshine, taking steps towards our physical and fundraising goals! It’s great that we can share in the teamwork and common bond from doing the challenge. The fitness gains are important but we’re also having plenty of fun along the way.”
Any BSE fitness stars to watch?
“I would definitely watch out for Tim O’Regan from our Brisbane office,”
“Being a Kung Fu master, he is sure to be eager to flex those muscles. As a team we hope to be fit and healthy at the end of the challenge. Preferably no injuries! On a more serious note, we hope that we can raise more than we did last year to join the cause to help.”
Team BSE is proud to join forces with the greater construction and building industry to get fit for homeless youth.
“The construction industry accounts for around 9% of Australia’s GDP, which is huge”
“That makes our industry a super power and we need to use our power for good. We are so pleased that charities like the Property Industry Foundation exist to engage our industry and help in the fight to combat youth homelessness.”
