Increasing housing for homeless youth

We collaborate with frontline youth homelessness charities to deliver more housing and safe spaces for young Australians in need — combining industry resources with on-the-ground expertise to change lives for the better.

Our Unique Model

Through The Haven Project, we partner with well-established youth homelessness charities to build and deliver homes they can operate — addressing the shortage of safe, stable housing for young Australians.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a registered charity?

Yes. All beneficiary organisations must hold current Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Tax-Concession Charity (TCC) status with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

What type of projects do you fund?

We fund capital projects that create or improve housing and safe spaces for homeless youth — including new builds, renovations, and fit-outs operated by established frontline charities.

What geographical areas do you work in?

The Foundation operates nationally across Australia. Please refer to our National Funding Guidelines for specific eligibility details by region.

How much will the Foundation give to a charity partner for a capital project?

Funding amounts vary by project scope and need. Our model amplifies contributions through industry in-kind support, so the total value delivered often exceeds the cash component. Details are outlined in our National Funding Guidelines

Do you have funding windows?

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. We recommend submitting early and ensuring your project aligns with our current funding priorities before applying.

How long does the approval process take?

Timeframes vary depending on project complexity. We aim to provide an initial response within a reasonable timeframe and will keep you informed throughout the process.

What reporting does the Foundation require?

Partners are required to provide progress and completion reports aligned to agreed milestones, demonstrating the impact of Foundation support on the project and the young people it serves.

What else does the Foundation require as part of the partnership?

We ask that partners engage authentically with the Foundation’s network and mission, participate in agreed communications and events, and uphold the values of transparency and accountability throughout the project.
