When giving, there should be fire in the belly, a warm heart, but a cool head.
Over 80 supporters of the Foundation joined us for lunch on Wednesday 28th June at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia to hear Jack Heath, CEO, Philanthropy Australia,
Jack shared his valuable insights about why we should talk more about philanthropy and giving strategies. He sees philanthropy as a driving force for good in a time of diminished trust in institutions and huge societal challenges. He also advocates for a philanthropy that is big-hearted, clear-headed and joyful.
Thank you to our event sponsors and long term supporters, Investa.
Steve Gatt, Acting CEO, Property Industry Foundation also shared our most ambitious project ever, Haven House South Dowling, which when finished will enable the Salvation Army to provide 19 beds for homeless youth for the next 50 years – close to 350,000 safe sleeps!
We would also like to thank everyone who came to the lunch for being a part of our generous network of property and construction industry supporters, continuing the legacy of making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable at-risk young Australians.
