The Foundation welcomes The Urban Developer as Sydney Tour de PIF Media Partner.
The industry is getting ready to cycle, run and walk for homeless youth in the Sydney Tour de PIF on 13 September and we’re delighted to have The Urban Developer join us as official Media Partner. “The Urban Developer is getting behind the Sydney Tour de PIF as the event celebrates 15 years of getting fit for a good cause,” says Managing Editor Taryn Paris. “This year, the event adds an exciting half marathon option to its events program, to be held in Sydney’s stunning Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. As run clubs gain momentum and we recognise the improvement of productivity, creativity, energy and focus attached to regular exercise like cycling, running and walking, it’s no surprise that this event is going from strength to strength.”
This year’s Sydney Tour de PIF will be held in the beautiful bushland suburb of Terrey Hills, with a concluding sit down lunch at Miramare Gardens. There are options for short, medium or longer courses which encourage everyone to take part. Cyclists can take on a 35km, 60km or 100km ride. Runners can tackle a 10km course or the half marathon challenge of 21km. Those wanting to take it a little easier and have a chat along the way can walk the 10km course.
In 2024, we have set the Sydney Tour de PIF bar high and hope to raise 200K for homeless youth to achieve our target of building four new bedrooms for homeless accommodation at Haven House South Dowling in Darlinghurst – that equals 73,000 safe nights of sleep for at risk young people.
