The Property Industry Foundation was delighted to be named the KARI Partner of the Year for 2020 along with Parkview and Rawson Homes. The award is due to the incredible collaboration between KARI, the Property Industry Foundation, Parkview and Rawson Homes on Haven House Parkview that was built for KARI to operate as a home for at-risk youth.
Kate Mills, CEO of the Property Industry Foundation, said that the award marked a great end to the year.
“Despite the challenging circumstances, we were delighted that we could pull togther this collaboration which will have a tangible impact on the lives of the young people that live in the house.”
The award was given at the KARI Awards Night at the prestigious Doltone House in Pyrmont last month. It was an event where KARI was able to showcase the work it is doing with indigenous youth and the KARI choir also sang on the night.
The Property Industry Foundation was delighted to be able to deliver this house this year despite the challenging circumstances. The house was funded through a combination of a donation from Parkview and pro-bono services on the house by Rawson Homes. It is one of two Haven Houses opened this year – the other one is in Kingsford and will have its official opening in 2021.
