About The Amplify Project

Amplify is built in partnership with capacity-building, advocacy and fundraising initiatives that grow the Foundation’s impact. Once developed, these projects and platforms are used to apply the property and construction industry’s skills, networks and influence to help end youth homelessness.

Meanwhile Use Platform

Turning Vacant Property Into Social Impact.

The Meanwhile Use Platform is the Foundation’s activation to accelerate the uptake of Meanwhile Use in Australia. It connects owners of temporarily vacant assets with charities, community housing providers and social enterprises ready to put those spaces to work. Combining a public information hub with a secure digital workspace, the platform lets organisations create profiles, list assets and projects, search opportunities and identify potential matches.

National Alliance for Meanwhile Use

Driving Collaboration for Systemic Change

The Property Industry Foundation is a founding member of the National Alliance for Meanwhile Use, a national coalition bringing together leaders from the property, housing, homelessness, community and philanthropic sectors to accelerate the adoption of Meanwhile Use across Australia. The Alliance provides a coordinated voice for advocacy, policy reform, knowledge sharing and cross-sector collaboration, helping unlock the social, economic and environmental value of underutilised property and create more opportunities for temporary housing and community activation.

Youth Homelessness Matters Day

Turning Awareness Into Action

Youth Homelessness Matters Day is Australia’s national day of awareness and action, dedicated to ending youth homelessness. The Foundation partners with Yfoundations and organisations across the property, media and community sectors to broaden the campaign’s reach and impact—mobilising Australians to Educate, Activate and Donate, and turning a single day into lasting momentum for change.
