Leading furniture provider Stylecraft has donated a generous $20,000 to the Property Industry Foundation, in lieu of physical gifts. The company has also committed to being a furniture and lighting partner in future projects.
Stylecraft Managing Director, Anthony Collins says the decision to support homeless youth resonated with their organisation’s social responsibility ethos.
“In 2019 we decided to donate $20,000 annually to a different charity. In 2021 we chose the Property Industry Foundation because their amazing work with young adults to provide transitional housing and a fresh start really resonated with us. Stylecraft have a history of supporting the local community and charitable organisations, so it was a great opportunity for us to help the Property Industry Foundation and achieve some real outcomes.”

This was Stylecraft’s first show of support for the Foundation and Collin’s has been impressed by the commitment to building safe and secure homes for vulnerable young people.
“Following the donation, I attended a Property Industry Foundation event in December 2021. I was very impressed with not only the housing that was provided, but also the level of involvement by all areas of the property and construction industry."
"I met some of the young people who now have a new home and their excitement and happiness was evident on the day. Going forward, we are committed to being a furniture and lighting partner in future projects.”
