As we near the start line for this year’s Sydney Tour de PIF, we are thrilled to welcome ADP Consulting as national Walk/Run Sponsors for both the NSW and Victorian events. We talked to ESG lead Kimberly Coleman about ADP’s commitment to fighting homelessness in Australia.
Why did ADP want to support Tour De PIF this year?
ADP has been a long-time supporter of organisations that fight homelessness in Australia. After hosting local fundraisers and smaller-scale events in each of our offices, we have developed our first national Giving Back Program to coordinate our efforts and make a more substantial impact in the areas that are important to us.
What do you enjoy about the Tour de PIF?
The Tour de PIF gives us a chance to embrace our passion for safe and healthy communities while building meaningful relationships with like-minded industry partners. That fact that we get to do that through an initiative that promotes sustainability, wellbeing and connection with Country is all the better.
What would you say to encourage someone to give it a go this year?
There is no better time to start! If you can get up and move, you can make a difference with every step. ADP will be assembling teams for both the Sydney and Melbourne races. We look forward to bringing our team together and forging new relationships in hopes of exceeding our previous year’s fundraising target.
Tell us a bit about why ADP supports the Foundation’s goal of building homes for disadvantaged youth?
As engineers and designers, we understand the important relationship between humans and the built environment. Accessible safe spaces are the foundation of our wellbeing so we believe every person has the right to a space they can call home.
Sign up for Tour de PIF Sydney on 8 September or Tour de PIF Melbourne on 17 November and ride, run or walk towards a brighter future for young people experiencing homelessness.
