Frank Developments has joined the Property industry Foundation’s fight against youth homelessness as a Platinum Partner in QLD. We spoke to Frank Licastro, Managing Director at Frank Developments about their commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young Australians.
What made Frank Developments want to sign on as Platinum Partner in QLD?
At Frank Developments, we believe that everyone deserves safe shelter and access to housing opportunities. As a developer committed to providing high-quality homes across south-east Queensland, we are acutely aware of the disparities in housing and the challenges that vulnerable people face in securing safe accommodation.

If there is a way for us to be part of someone’s journey towards finding a home, we want to be. The Property Industry Foundation aligns with our values and we are honoured to contribute as a Platinum Partner in Queensland. We believe in the incredible work that the Foundation is doing and are committed to supporting their mission of providing housing solutions for at-risk youth.

“Housing is a fundamental human need and as an industry that builds homes, it is only right that we play our part in ensuring everyone has access to shelter.”

How did Frank Developments come to know of the Foundation and its work?
We were introduced to the impactful work of the Property Industry Foundation through a personal introduction at The Urban Developer Awards night in 2024. Learning about the Foundation’s commitment to addressing youth homelessness resonated deeply with us, and we knew we wanted to be involved.
What is important to your organisation about supporting homeless youth in QLD?
Everyone deserves the right to safe shelter. Our mission is to create homes that our clients love and enjoy for generations to come. It’s a natural extension of this mission to support initiatives that ensure young people have the opportunity to find a place they can call home.
As a developer, we play a role in shaping the housing landscape in Queensland. That narrative should include young people who need safe and stable housing. If we can be a part of making that happen, we are all in.
Why is it important for the construction and property industry to support the Foundation in their goal of building and renovating more homes for at-risk youth?

As members of the property industry, we have a social responsibility to contribute to meaningful solutions. The construction and property sectors have the expertise, resources, and networks to make a tangible difference in tackling youth homelessness.
We have worked on delivering cost-effective and thoughtfully designed homes and we believe these skills can be applied to help provide much-needed housing for at-risk youth. Housing is a fundamental human need, and as an industry that builds homes, it is only right that we play our part in ensuring everyone has access to shelter.

What Foundation events or activities are you and your team looking forward to?
We love engaging with the community and taking an active role in initiatives that make a difference. The Hard Hat event in August is something we are particularly excited about. We would also love to be involved in Wrap Nights in Queensland. Being hands-on and contributing in meaningful ways is something our team values greatly.
Anything else you’d like to add?
We are incredibly honoured to join the Property Industry Foundation as a Platinum Partner in Queensland. It is a privilege to be part of an initiative that helps young Australians find safe shelter, and we look forward to making a meaningful impact alongside the Foundation and the broader industry.
