Any special moments or memories from 2024?
One memorable experience is the Hard Hat Day we hosted at the site of an Ashurst project. Working collectively with our partners Ashurst and Architectus to amplify the event’s impact and raise over $8000 in just one morning. Not only were we able to support the work of the Foundation, but we included our social impact partner, Two Good Co., who handled the catering on the day. Our involvement allowed us not only to fund the Foundation’s efforts but also to make a meaningful difference in the community by creating life-changing employment opportunities for women rebuilding their lives after experiencing domestic violence and homelessness.
MPA and the Foundation have had a long association, why is this partnership so impactful?
This partnership is impactful because we have embedded it within the culture of our team, using our networks and partnerships to strengthen the impact we can make. By utilising our resources and expertise toward a shared goal, we can make a real difference in the lives of young people in need. The Foundation provides an established platform to address youth homelessness, while MPA brings industry experience, dedicated volunteers, and a commitment to social responsibility. This allows our team to actively contribute to projects that offer genuine and essential support for vulnerable youth. This genuine relationship inspires MPA’s team, as it shows the tangible impact we can have through collaboration and strengthens our community connections.
What Foundation events and activities are MPA looking forward to being part of?
Our partnership with the Foundation continues to grow, and we’re thrilled about what lies ahead. The enthusiasm from our team to get involved shows that we’re creating a meaningful impact that resonates across the organisation.
This year, we are proud of what we’ve accomplished. With ambitious targets set for 2025, we look forward to tapping into our competitive spirit to achieve even more. Next year, we aim to get our team back on the tools with The Haven Project and keep up our fundraising efforts through initiatives like Tour de PIF and Hard Hat Day. We’re also committed to raising awareness about the Foundation throughout the industry and on projects with our clients.
