After the huge success of Steps for Homeless Youth last year, Revert Group wanted to offer more support by sponsoring this year’s walking challenge.
The Steps for Homeless Youth walking challenge will be back on 10 May at Albert Park Lake in Melbourne and Revert Group has signed on as the event’s Major Partner. Paul Rosenberg Vella, Revert Director will be lapping the lake in support of vulnerable young people in Victoria and around the nation. “After participating last year, the team and I felt we could do more to support homeless youth, especially as our industry are in a position to make change,” says Paul. “There is so much we all still need to do to overcome youth homelessness but if we all contribute a small part, we can all make a significant difference … one step at a time.”
Revert is a National Partner to the Property Industry Foundation and shares our commitment to building safe and secure homes for youth in need. “As a National Donor it’s important we spread the word and support the amazing work provided by the Foundation,” says Paul. “We are fortunate to have a home to go to, a place to sleep and feel safe. We need to provide advocacy and support for those who are sleeping rough or in overcrowded or insecure housing. The Foundation and the industry can work together to make change.”
“By coming together through collaboration and team effort we can change the lives of homeless and marginalised youth.”
Paul Rosenberg Vella, Director, Revert Group
The Revert Group are looking forward to participating in Steps for Homeless Youth, which provides a chance to socialise as well as get some steps in! “I’m looking forward to catching up with old friends, as well as make new connections,” says Paul. “Plus, I need to lose a couple of kilos so what a perfect way to do it.”
Paul encourages others in the property and construction industry to sign up, put on their walking shoes and get down to the lake to take part. “Take 2-3 hours of your day to not only support a worthwhile cause but also connect and build new, positive industry relationships. See you there!”
