Get ready to hit the greens with friends and colleagues at the Property Industry Foundation Golf Day, powered by Architectus.
Join us on 17 February, 2023 at the Gisborne Golf Club in Victoria’s stunning Macedon Ranges for a day away from the office. We’re thrilled that architecture and design studio Architectus are once again on-board as our Principal Partner. “Architectus is looking forward to sponsoring the Golf Day in 2023 – the second year our practice has supported this new, community-minded initiative,” says Principal and Residential Sector Leader, Olly Mayger. “The inaugural event last February was spearheaded by Barry Aarons, former COO of Architectus and a member of the Property Industry Foundation’s Board of Advisors at the time. It attracted more than 120 engaged participants and generated great buzz and feedback as part of the Foundation’s annual calendar of events.”
Golfers can look forward to an 18-hole hit out, played Ambrose style, shotgun start, plus a bacon and egg roll breakfast of champions, a sit-down lunch, and cold refreshments. To spice things up, we’ll be encouraging a little fun competition, including the longest drive, nearest to the pin and hole in one. “Our practice is excited about making the event even bigger and better, including through the support of additional event sponsors,” says Olly. “With more people involved in the event and galvanised by the work of the Foundation, we can ultimately raise more money together, building homes for those in need – and ideally making a long-term impact on youth homelessness.”
By playing a round with us, you’ll raise funds for Haven House Shepparton – a partnership with Women’s Property Initiatives and The Bridge Youth Services to build 3 x two-bedroom homes where young mums (up to 25 years old) can live independently with their child or children. “For Architectus, the Golf Day is more than just a chance to join a network of property and construction professionals for a fun day on the course,” says Olly. “It’s also a great way to make our support for the Foundation more tangible, adding to the work we do providing architectural expertise to Property Industry Foundation initiatives that help young Australians who are experiencing homelessness.”
