Nicholle Sparkes, General Manager Delivery & Operations at Frasers Property Australia has set herself a goal of clocking 150km in the 30-Day Fitness Challenge.

At the halfway point, she’s 80km down and has raised a whopping $4,745 – four times her original target! “We are over the halfway mark today, hitting 80km,” says Nicholle. “My dog Emma is now the daily alarm clock that goes off just before 4:30am every morning. It’s getting a little easier, however, we are definitely not breaking any records!”

Joining the challenge to boost her motivation and fitness, Nicholle has gotten into the spirit of the challenge and so has her canine companion. “I’m actually enjoying it more than I thought I would. Emma is a great running buddy, apart from the occasional need to stop and sniff something. This challenge may never end as she quite likes the daily run and waits at the door and moans until I put the lead on ready to go.”

when you lay down the basics of what you’re trying to achieve and why you’re doing it and simply ask, people in our industry are very willing to support you.

Sitting in second place on our fundraising leaderboard, Nicholle is a champion at getting people to part with their money for a good cause. “Everyone has been really supportive and generous with their donations. The Property Industry Foundation is such a great cause; when you lay down the basics of what you’re trying to achieve and why you’re doing it and simply ask, people in our industry are very willing to support you. I couldn’t imagine not having a home to go to, let alone being a kid and not having a bed to go home to. Our industry resonates with this, and this is a really easy way for everyone to contribute to the Property Industry Foundation cause.”

Good luck, Nicholle and thanks for participating in the 30-Day Fitness Challenge!
