The Gorman Allard Shelton Golf Day raised an impressive $33,000 towards building projects for homeless youth in Victoria.

Over 76 keen golfers teed off on the greens at Riversdale Golf Club on Friday 11 August. “We had enormous support from our industry partners who enthusiastically supported the day,” says Stephen Gorman, Managing Director of Gorman Allard Shelton. “All participants were excited to be involved in the event and additional competitions, including an exciting on-course $10,000 Hole-in-One competition. A light lunch and after golf drinks and snacks allowed for socialising and networking amongst participants in a relaxed setting.”

Tim Slattery, Chair of the Property Industry Foundation’s Victorian Advisory Board and Dr Eamonn McCarthy, CEO of the Lighthouse Foundation took on the golfing challenge, with the Ready Media team taking out the 4-ball Ambrose event.

The Property Industry Foundation thanks everyone who supported the event, especially our returning sponsors, Gorman Allard Shelton, who have supported the Foundation for over 10 years. “We see the Foundation as a natural partnership – both being in the property industry and seeing the importance of supporting vulnerable young people through raising funds for various Haven Projects, says Stephen. “Safe housing and services are vital to assist homeless youth to create a better future for themselves.”

Thanks to the Golf Day sponsors:
