‘Tis the season for giving and ALD Expert Demo have delivered the Property Industry Foundation a very generous Christmas gift of $50,000 to support homeless and at-risk youth. The donation is in lieu of ALD Expert Demo’s traditional festive gifts to clients. “We feel at this time of year it’s so important to give back to our community and support those in need, especially when there are many events in our industry at this time,” says Paul Rosenberg Vella, ALD Expert Demo’s National Manager. “Many of our clients are very community driven and are aligned with our philanthropic ethos.”
“It is our duty within the industry to contribute to this change and work together to reduce these statics especially during this time of year.”
Half of ALD Expert Demo’s donation will go towards Haven House Shepparton in regional Victoria, where young mums can live for up to five years with the support of The Bridge Youth Services and Haven House South Dowling, a 19-bed facility for homeless youth which will be run by the Salvation Army. “This contribution was made between NSW and Victoria in lieu of Christmas gifts for our clients,” says Paul. “We believe these funds will provide a significant benefit for these projects. Despite this time of year being joyful for many of us, sadly youth homelessness affects 44,000 young Australians,” says Paul.
