We are thrilled to announce Antoinette Rusby-Perera has been promoted to a new role as the Property Industry Foundation’s Queensland State Manager.
Antoinette will provide leadership and direction in Queensland for commercial, engagement and activities involving beneficiary partners, including fundraising and stakeholder management. “I’m passionate about helping as many vulnerable young people as possible and making a real difference here in Queensland,” says Antoinette. “The Foundation is looking to grow – grow our donorship and expand our reach, and grow in the support we give to our charity partners as the need for our help is great.”
Antoinette and the Queensland team have had enormous success in the region in the past year. “Our annual Charity Regatta was a sell-out, with the biggest fleet ever – 41 yachts sailing for homeless youth. Securing former tennis star Jelena Dokic as our QLD ambassador was incredible and we’re set to open Act for Kids Moreton Bay Centre in partnership with Act for Kids in June.”
There are many more exciting events and projects underway in Queensland. “The Foundation turns 10 in Queensland this year, a significant milestone,” says Antoinette. “I’m also looking forward to unveiling our next flagship project which will significantly help many vulnerable young Queenslanders. Thank you to our very generous corporate donors for their ongoing support and commitment to the Foundation. If there is anyone who would like to get involved, please contact me.”
