Aliro has jumped on board as our Major Partner for Pedal for Homeless Youth, 2023. The stationary bike event is being held on 25 July at Queen Street Mall, Brisbane. Competitors and teams will battle it out for the greatest number of kms in 20-minute slots. “We were thrilled to be the Ride Sponsor for Tour de PIF in Sydney last year, and we are excited to continue our partnership with the Foundation as a Major Partner for Pedal for Homeless Youth in Brisbane!” says Jeff Gordon, Aliro Senior Development Manager. “We believe that this event is a great opportunity to raise awareness and funds to support homeless youth in Brisbane.”
The Aliro team came out in force at last year’s Pedal for Homeless Youth and they’re planning another big outing in 2023. “Our Brisbane team is excited to take on the 20-minute sprints at Queen St Mall and showcase our cycling skills,” says Jeff. “We’ve been training hard and are ready to give it our all. This event is not just about fun and exercise, but also about supporting a worthy cause. We’re proud to be a part of this initiative and are looking forward to making a difference in our community.”
Slots are still available for anyone looking to spice up their lunchbreak with a fast and furious cycle sprint. “We would encourage Brisbane’s CBD workers to come down and be part of Pedal for Homeless Youth,” says Jeff. “The event is suitable for people of all levels of fitness and experience, and it’s a great way to meet new people and have fun while making a difference. It’s also a great opportunity for businesses to get involved and promote their commitment to social responsibility. See you there!”
