700 bags of necessities for the Melbourne City Mission

A 100 volunteers from the industry joined us at Foys Arcade in Melbourne’s CBD on the afternoon of 18 August to wrap up 700 bags of donated toiletry items for the Melbourne City Mission. At-risk young people are often in living situations where basic hygiene is considered a luxury and these items can make a real difference.

“MCM is very grateful to the Property Industry Foundation for providing toiletries like deodorant, soap, shaving and sanitary products for young people who are experiencing homelessness,” says Melbourne City Mission Senior Manager Molly O’Shaughnessy. “For young people who are transient or don’t have a home, it’s incredibly important to have access to basic essentials, including toiletries to maintain health and hygiene.”

Big thanks to our event sponsor Dalton Consulting Engineers and hosts ISPT Property. A very big thanks to our Future Leaders Committee in Victoria, who were the driving force behind this event.
