PIF House Burdekin receives a garden makeover

Burdekin’s Manly property that houses three young people & carer in transition housing has received a garden makeover! The work has been carried out by Riverview Landscapes who have previously done landscaping for PIF House Blacktown & PIF House Parkview.

The Riverview team have replaced a fence that runs the full length of the property, built raised beds and put new planting on both the front & back gardens.

Matt Nugent from Burdekin explained that he and the team were very happy with how things turned out. The scope of works included removing and replacing old fences with metal posts, a brick garden edge and new mulching front garden, a new side gate, a garden bed along the back fence, new plants and mulch across the back. With all this work taking longer then planned due to working around the neighbours schedule the Burdekin team were appreciative of the hard work invested into this project.

“We are all so appreciative of the work George and Colin did in going the extra yards to help make this happen”

Jayden Sultana from Riverview Landscapes says,

“It’s about gratitude and helping your community. Working with the Property Industry Foundations enables us to be part of the property & construction family – we’re a family business – we get that.”

With such a focus on community impact held by both Burdekin and Riverview, it’s no wonder the results came together so well.
