The Future Leaders Committees in each State are a great place to build your networks, lend your expertise, get your hands ‘dirty’, and meet other early-career professionals from across the industry who want to make a difference.

We take five with the Co-Chair of Future Leaders, NSW – Jessica Evans. Jessica is the Relationship Manager at MPA – an organisation dedicated to providing stellar building contracting services, specialising in interior fit-out and refurbishment.

What attracted you to PIF as your preferred charity?

Homelessness is something that has always really touched me… I can’t imagine being homeless, especially given so many people fall into this state through no fault of their own. I came across PIF working in the construction industry and supporting the cause feels like a natural fit.

What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned in regard to what we do?

The level of support that goes beyond just ‘simply’ building homes for homeless youth. PIF supports many small charities who provide ‘wrap-around services’ to homeless youth.

What’s one thing that not a lot of people know about you?

I love to sail and have navigated the East Coast of Australia, twice.
