Future Leader Tass Assarapin champions the Property Industry Foundation way

We caught up with one of our Property Industry Foundation Future Leaders and Partner at Mitchell Brandtman Tass Assarapin to get his first-hand perspective on being part of the property industry foundation as a member of the industry.

What is your involvement with PIF?

I’m currently on the NSW Regatta Committee & NSW Future Leaders Committee. Also occasionally hosting a couple of social events on behalf of PIF such as Trivia & poker.

How long have you been involved with PIF?

I’ve been involved with PIF since 2017 as a member of the old ‘PropertyBlitz’committee.

With so many charities to support, why PIF?

I’m lucky to know that there is a charity in which our industry as a whole can give back to and see first hand the results, such as the PIF house visits.

What do you think other people should know about PIF?

I think an important aspect is not just being able to support Financially, but everyone could chip in via volunteering or supporting the various events that PIF puts on (Charity Sailing Regatta, Tour de PIF, Property Industry Sleep Out and much more).

What’s one thing that not a lot of people know about you?

The close contacts know, but I’m a bit of an Aston Villa fanatic in the English Premier League. So much so that I travelled to Wembley in 2019 to witness them at Wembley stadium. All that was for was for Villa to be promoted into the Premier League. Imagine what I would do if we did something good?

Tass is an example of the amazing industry supporters the Property Industry Foundation works with in order to create memorable experiences to bring our industry together to build homes for homeless youth. We aim to create networking and connection opportunities both professionally and personally in our continued effort to unify the industry to help stop youth homelessness with the help of people like Tass.
