A blissful Regatta day
On a Friday on the 14th of May, property and construction industry professionals took the time to come together in the name of supporting homeless youth to close off the Property industry Foundation’s Charity regattas for 2021. The sun rose on a sleepy Friday morning as the beautiful Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron began to fill with supporters ready to enjoy a day of sailing.
After opening messages and pre sail orientation, our supporters clambered onto yachts of all different shapes and sizes and made their way out to the start line. The race was heightened by great weather and a healthy competitive spirit as we raced into the afternoon, docking for the day after our race winners Urbis, McGees and Mitchell Brandtman crossed the finishing line.
Congratulations to our race winners!

The sunset into a waterside celebration of a great day. With a roaring 1920s themed set-up, supporters enjoyed food, drinks, a plethora of raffle prizes to be won and as always, great company for an even greater cause.
The night brought a boatload of raffle winners and also a dash of style with Mitchell Brandtman winning best dressed as we partied into the night.

The Property Industry Foundation would like to thank the many volunteers who helped on the day, the skippers and their crew for donating their vessels, our event sponsors Built, and you the property and construction industry. You took time out of your week to sail for homeless youth and managed to raise around $80,000 to go towards the PIF House program which builds homes for homeless youth in need, ultimately creating safe spaces where young people can turn their lives around.
