Thank you for supporting our Sydney Charity Regatta

The 2021 Sydney Charity Regatta was an opportunity for the property and construction industry to get back together face-to-face at the beautiful Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.

Over 400 of the industry’s finest set enjoyed a day of either competitive sailing in our annual yacht race or a smooth sailing spectator boat experience on the Sydney Harbour. 30 yachts set sail at this year’s event.

The day started with a bleak outlook with overcast skies, but as it progressed the sky cleared and brought with it great conditions for a day on the water.

This year instead of an after-party, the Property Industry Foundation hosted a sit-down lunch with a 1920s jazz era twist and an exciting assortment of raffle prizes raising over $18,000. The end result of the lunching, sailing and fundraising brought a total of over $130,000 in funds raised to go towards PIF House projects in 2021!

The team at the Property Industry Foundation were just as excited as the sailing participants, as the Sydney Charity Regatta is the first of many events the Foundation was able to host and provide to the industry after a long year of restricted socialising. To be able to have such a wonderful group of industry supporters in one place enjoying their time and giving support to at-risk young people is what we are all about.
