A big thanks to ALD Expert Demo who have come on board as a National Partner.

ALD Expert Demo have supported the Foundation for many years in a variety of ways – from generous donations to lending a hand on-site and joining our key events.

Most recently, they’ve signed on as a National Partner. “The Property Industry Foundation is known for its outstanding work tackling homelessness and providing support to young people at risk,” says National Manager Paul Rosenberg Vella. “Our partnership is an opportunity for ALD Expert Demo to be involved in meaningful initiatives and contribute a positive change to those in need as well as support the Foundation.”

Everybody can play a part in tackling youth homelessness, says Paul. “It’s important to spread the word that homelessness is an issue that requires support from wider business and our community. We all need to do our part to create change, especially as homelessness does not discriminate and can affect anyone, regardless of socioeconomic background.”

Paul believes making a difference is possible if the industry works collaboratively and pools resources. “Within the construction sector, we have the resources, skillset, and proactive nature and tenacity to make change,” says Paul. “It is also our corporate and ethical responsibility. We do this in our buildings, refurbishments and fit outs as the industry is about creating difference. I’m positive this can extend to our wider communities, especially those who are affected by homelessness or social disadvantage. We pull together as a team on delivery of our projects as the industry is about collaboration.”

The ALD Expert Demo team are regulars at the Foundation’s annual events and fundraisers, including the Steps for Homeless Youth, held at Albert Park Lake Melbourne on 26 May. “What was amazing about this event was how it was pulled together so quickly by the Foundation Team and volunteers,” says Paul. “The industry also pulled together to support the event. There was a dynamic and positive energy on the day, whilst exceeding donation targets. In addition to Steps, Ricky Ross, State Manager of ALD and our QLD team also had an outstanding day during the recent Brisbane Charity Regatta. The day was filled with lots of laughs and an opportunity to catch up with industry friends, partners and raising money for an exceptional cause.”

ALD Expert Demo plan to attend lots of Foundation events in the coming year. “The team are currently practicing their golfing swing techniques for the upcoming golf events,” says Paul. “We will participate in Steps next year, further Regatta events, and participate and support the Foundation wherever we can. A big shout out to all the staff and volunteers at the Property Industry Foundation – especially those behind the scenes. Your work and commitment to the Foundation and youth homelessness is very much appreciated and respected.”
