ALD Group has donated a generous $30K to homeless youth, in lieu of Christmas client gifts.

The first $15K donation, from ALD Group’s Victorian clients was officially handed over by Paul Rosenberg, National Manager and Deepak Serchan, Director on 30 November at the End of Year Celebration in Melbourne. The donation was gratefully received by Priscilla Heathwood, State Manager VIC and Tim Slattery, Board of Advisor’s Chair. This donation will go towards Haven House South East Melbourne, run by The Lighthouse Foundation. A further $15K, from ALD Group’s NSW clients, will go towards supporting the young people at Redfern’s Jarjum College, Sydney.

“At this time of year it’s so important to give back to our community and support those in need, especially when there are many events in our industry at this time,” says Paul. “This contribution was made in lieu of Christmas gifts for our clients, many of whom are very community driven and are aligned with our philanthropic ethos. We believe these funds will provide a significant benefit for Haven Projects. Despite this time of year being joyful for many of us, sadly youth homelessness affects 44,000 young Australians.”

This is the second year that ALD Group have made a Christmas donation to the Foundation. Last year, they placed a $50,000 cheque under the tree which went towards Haven Projects like Haven House Shepparton, accommodation for young mums in regional Victoria.
