For the seventh year running, Built has signed on as Principal Sponsor for the Brisbane Charity Regatta in 2023. We talked to General Manager, Christian Adamson about their longstanding commitment to the popular industry sailing event, which raises funds for the Property Industry Foundation’s building program, The Haven Project
Why has Built signed on as Principal Sponsor in 2023?
Built has proudly sponsored the Property Industry Foundation Charity Regatta in Brisbane since 2016 and in our seventh year, we are thrilled to be the Principal Partner. Every year we look forward to this exciting event and know the fantastic work the Property Industry Foundation team does extends well beyond the regatta; carrying throughout the entire year, creating safe accommodation for vulnerable young people.

Built is committed to having real impact in our communities by targeting issues closest to us and where we can make a tangible difference. We have strong partnerships with grassroots organisations that make a difference to people in need and volunteer our skills, time and extensive supply chain partnerships to help, and the regatta is an ideal fit.
What are you most looking forward to for the 2023 regatta event?
We are really looking forward to coming together with our colleagues and industry peers to raise much needed funds for those who need it most. The Regatta is always a great way to network across the industry and a fun and competitive day on the water. While we all enjoy the festivities of the event, we understand the underlying importance of raising awareness and funds to continue to build homes for homeless youth.
Why would you encourage people to sign up for the regatta?
The construction industry is the third largest industry in Australia and together we can make a significant and tangible difference to youth homelessness. This fantastic annual event which brings the property and construction industry together, shines a light on the importance for ongoing support and services to homeless young Australians who most need a helping hand.
Collectively we can make a real difference. We encourage everyone to get involved in the regatta, not just for the fun day on the water, but to support The Haven Project and the many young lives that benefit from it through the network of homes being built across Brisbane for our homeless youth. The lasting impact made on young lives through The Haven Project, at a time when they need help the most, is life changing. We are thrilled to support the Property Industry Foundation as they continue to build homes for homeless youth across Brisbane, which makes such a difference and has a real impact in the community.
