Over 40 enthusiastic steppers from Colliers will take part in Steps for Homeless Youth on 26 May. Colliers join 450+ of our industry supporters in running and walking around Melbourne’s beautiful Albert Park Lake to raise funds to build homes for homeless youth. “We have a fundraising target of $10,000 as a team, which is $250 per person,” says Izabella Minas, Executive Office Leasing at Colliers. “It’s a great team building and networking opportunity and brings different teams from different offices together with a shared goal of raising money for the important cause of homelessness – something we all care deeply about. We are excited to come together with industry partners from both property and construction to raise money for such a critical cause and see the Property Industry Foundation’s work to battle homelessness come to life.”

Izabella is on the Future Leaders Committee in Victoria and has been part of the organising committee for the new event. “Homelessness is an important issue which requires more attention from the industry,” says Izabella. “We can all work to achieve better outcomes surrounding housing affordability and youth homelessness by combining resources and expertise.”

“Steps for Homeless Youth is an opportunity for Colliers to make a social impact as a team, as well as raising awareness for the Haven House Project.”
