Dulux Golf Day was back for a second year, with 116 golfers from 24 companies teeing off at the beautiful Concord Golf Course in Sydney, in support of building homes for youth in need.

Taking place on the auspicious date of May the 4th (be with you!), teams tackled the scenic 18-hole course, Ambrose style. “After seeing how the inaugural event was so well-received by the Property Industry Foundation last year, Dulux Construction Solutions were committed to a second year,” says Cameron O’Brien, Dulux Commercial Sales Manager. “We were proud to support this year’s event to raise valuable funds for the Haven House South Dowling.”

Famously adorable Dulux dog, Toby also made an appearance, giving competitors a bark of encouragement. Golfers then gathered for a relaxed lunch for official results, raffle prize announcements, and a chance to mingle with industry friends and colleagues. “We couldn’t have asked for a better day overall; the weather, the course and the company were fantastic,” says Cameron.

“On the day we raised $51,000. This brings our total to $95,000 from the first two golf day events for the Foundation.”

Haven House South Dowling will provide 19 desperately needed bedrooms for young people experiencing homelessness. The ultra-modern, welcoming complex will feature meeting and communal spaces, apartment living, and an experienced team from The Salvation Army delivering holistic services and programs.

Big thanks to Dulux Construction Solutions and all the golfers who attended the Dulux Golf Day event for their generous support for homeless young Australians.
