The Property Industry Foundation is delighted to welcome our long-term supporters, Taylor as Ride Sponsor of this year’s Tour de PIF event in Sydney.

“The Property Industry Foundation exists to create safe, secure places for the 44,000 young Australians without a home environment,” says Philip Bermingham, General Manager – Major Projects. “Taylor has proudly supported the Property Industry Foundation for more than a decade. We are passionate about advocating for this important, industry-led cause, and will be fundraising to help make a difference in the fight against youth homelessness.”

Six speedy cyclists will represent Team Taylor in this year’s Tour de PIF, taking on the 60km and 100km courses in Sydney. “This year, I am delighted to do my part to help young people rebuild their lives by cycling 100km for Team Taylor,” Phil says. Project Director Shane Tozer will also ride the 100km, while Tim Christie, Michael Gad, Stephen Winfield and Steve Gatt will tackle the 60km course.

Alongside Taylor’s involvement in Tour de PIF, they have also been committed to supplying in-kind services to support the Foundation, including a refurbishment for our charity partners at The Girls and Boys Brigade.

Our team and incredible subcontractors previously partnered with the Property Industry Foundation and Turner Architects to refurb the office space of The Girls and Boys Brigade – an inner-city centre that works with vulnerable youth and their families,” adds Tim Christie, General Manager – General Build, at Taylor. “COVID-19 saw a sharp increase in enrollments to their programs as more people were affected by loss of income, with food security being a major factor. This space was transformed into an open and flexible area fostering more cohesion to support the roll-out of their programs, including after-school care and holiday programs for families who desperately need their support.

Thanks, Taylor!
