Riding High with Aliro

We are thrilled to welcome Aliro Group to the track as 2022 Ride Sponsor for Tour de PIF. We talked to Andrew Whiteman, Development Manager about their decision to join the peloton to raise funds for homeless youth.

Why did Aliro want to be ride sponsor of the Tour de PIF this year?

Aliro is proud to support as ride sponsor for the Tour de PIF in Sydney this year to work together to address the issue of homelessness. We also see this as a great opportunity to support the Property Industry Foundation, who through their Haven Project housing programs are making a significant positive impact to the lives of young people in need and in-turn to our local community. As ride sponsor, we also hope to help raise greater awareness of this meaningful event through our professional and personal networks.

What do you think is special about the event?

The Tour de PIF is a unique, not-to-be-missed event in our property industry’s calendar that gathers property industry professionals to ride, walk or run an iconic course for a good cause. The networking lunch afterwards is also a great opportunity to share your experiences from the day. Property professionals are generally competitive and enjoy a healthy challenge! This enjoyable event is a wonderful opportunity to bring a healthy competitive spirit towards meeting fitness as well as fundraising goals to address youth homelessness.

How will the Aliro team take part in Tour de PIF?

Aliro will be represented by a team of cyclists, runners, and walkers to tackle this year’s course. The banter has already commenced within the office among the cyclists, and we are looking forward to a few team coffee rides in the lead up. The event has also provided much needed motivation for getting up early to train over winter!
