Almost 180 industry professionals from 20 companies tested their leg strength in Pedal for Homeless Youth 2023.

Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall came alive with the sound of pedals pumping as riders from across our industry clocked as many kms as possible on stationary bikes in 20-minute timeslots. Camaraderie and fun rivalry united our cyclists, as they raised much-needed funds for homeless youth.  The event has raised more than $50,000 for our Queensland Haven Projects, through peer-to-peer fundraising, sponsorship and registrations. This is an incredible effort and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.

We couldn’t have done it without the support of our sponsors The GPT Group, Aliro, Saunders Havill Group, Cyclebar Carindale, oOh! Media and Constant Security. Special thank you to BG Catering, Bar Pacino, Howard Smith Wharves, Macro Mike, Patio and Range Brewing, and Hendrix Photography for donating amazing prizes to all of our fundraisers and cyclists.

Finally, thank you to all of you who signed up, fundraised and pedaled on the day. We tripled fundraising and attendance this year and it was so amazing to see all of you enjoy your Pedal for Homeless Youth. All of the fundraising will go to our Haven House Program which is currently funding two projects which will deliver 13 bedrooms in the transitional accommodation space for vulnerable young Queenslanders. These projects will be in the Logan and Kingaroy regions of Queensland and should be completed by the end of 2025. Fundraising pages will be open until the end of next week, for any last-minute donations.
