In a sizzling Hard Hat Day event, Taylor raised $20,000 for the Property Industry Foundation by holding BBQ’s across five of their sites.

On 25 August, Taylor held onsite barbecues for Hard Hat Day – collectively raising $20,000 for the Property Industry Foundation. A key event on the property and construction industries’ annual events calendar, Hard Hat Day raises funds to support the building of safe, secure, and welcoming homes for marginalised and at-risk young people.

Five Taylor sites hosted delicious BBQ lunches, generously sponsored by their subcontractors. In addition to fundraising for an important cause, each event served as a special opportunity for their community to connect and enjoy a hearty lunch with clients, partners, and valued subcontractors.

Special guests including Goodman attendees and the Property Industry Foundation’s Acting CEO, Steve Gatt, who joined Team Taylor’s Hard Hat event at Rosebery Engine Yards where over 100 attendees were treated to a generous spread prepared by Moeco Plumbing, and beverages supplied by Outsource Civil.

“Taylor is a proud long-term sponsor and gold donor of the Property Industry Foundation with involvement with the Foundation since 2009,” says Mark Taylor, Managing Director. “Our participation spans across the Foundation’s initiatives throughout the year, successfully building a deeper partnership with the organisation through ongoing fundraising and sponsorship. Team Taylor is passionate about its advocacy for this important, industry-led cause.”

Huge thanks to Team Taylor for their generous Hard Hat support!

This year, the Foundation is celebrating 20 years of Hard Hat Day – a DIY fundraising event that unites our community in support of homeless youth. Hold your event, your way!
