Construction management company Renascent has set the fundraising bar high in the 30-Day Fitness Challenge.

Having raised $14,593 of a massive $20,000 target, Renascent is smashing their fundraising goals in the 30-Day Fitness Challenge. “We couldn’t be prouder of our team – with Team Renascent top of the fundraising leaderboard, Alex Smallbone leading the cycling and Nick Blom making the top five for running,” the team reports. “Central to our success this year has been Project Director, Nick Blom and his leadership – it’s his passion and drive that’s really given Team Renascent the edge in our fundraising.”

Nick says team spirit is Renascent’s secret. “I completed my first Tour De PIF in 2019 and it’s the combination of a cause that I really care about and the fitness challenge that’s kept me coming back each year,” says Nick. “With Renascent it’s a real team effort – and I think that’s the secret. When you’re all in it together we can cheer each other on and it’s a brilliant source of motivation.”

With a week left in the challenge, Team Renascent says they’ve got a big finish planned. “While we’re very proud of all the dollars we’ve raised and the kilometres we’ve covered so far, we’re just as excited by how much further we can go,” they say. “At Renascent we recognise how valuable the work is that the Property Industry Foundation does in helping young people experiencing homelessness, and so being able to support this cause through the 30-Day Fitness Challenge is something we’re very pleased to be involved with.”
