2026 Property Industry Foundation Trivia Night
On Thursday 27 August, at Felons Barrel Hall — set on Brisbane’s iconic waterfront, in the heart of the city’s trivia scene, came alive as 37 teams from 76 companies brought their competitive best, and their generous hearts, to the 2026 Property Industry Foundation Trivia Night.
The result? Over $35,000 raised to help build safe, stable accommodation for young Queenslanders experiencing homelessness. That’s thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, bid on an auction item, or simply showed up ready to play.
Property Industry Foundation CEO Kate Mills said the night was proof of what the industry can achieve when it comes together.
“Every dollar raised on the night will go towards the delivery of safe and stable homes for young people experiencing homelessness, helping give them the foundation they need to build a brighter future,” said Kate Mills.
“This Trivia Night is a powerful example of what can happen when the industry bands together, we can have a great night out while making a tangible difference for young people who need it most.”
Funds raised on the night will go towards the Foundation’s Haven Projects, which create safe, stable and supportive accommodation designed to give homeless youth a fresh start, helping build a safer future for the next generation.

A huge congratulations to Spaces x Get Parked, who claimed the title from a field of 37 teams and took home the ultimate prize, a box at the Queensland Reds v NSW Waratahs in 2027. Well played!
The Conversation That Stopped the Room
Alongside four fiercely contested trivia rounds, the night’s show-stopping “Boardroom to Barrel Hall” panel brought together three remarkable guests:
- Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner — on building a city that works for everyone
- Natalie Cook OAM, Olympic Gold Medallist — on resilience, purpose and building something that lasts
- Anthony Ryan, CEO of BEDA — on the opportunities to address homelessness and put Brisbane on the map
Moderated by Adam Di Marco from The Urban Developer, it was a conversation as memorable as the night itself. Ahead of the event, Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said the night would unite Brisbane’s property sector behind a cause close to home.
“Brisbane is a community that cares, and every young person deserves to have a safe and secure place to live,” Cr Schrinner said. “This event gives industry professionals a direct way to support young people in need across Queensland while enjoying some friendly competition. I look forward to helping turn a good night out into meaningful support for young people.”
Judging by the night’s result, he was right on the money.
