In our 30th Anniversary year, over 900 riders, runners and walkers unite in the biggest Tour de PIF yet to help end youth homelessness.
There are events, and then there are moments that capture exactly why an organisation exists. Friday’s Sydney Tour de PIF 2026 was firmly the latter, a day so full of energy, heart and generosity that it will be remembered as one of the defining moments of the Property Industry Foundation’s 30th Anniversary year.
The Biggest Tour de PIF Yet
This year’s event was, without question, the biggest in Tour de PIF history. More than 900 participants from over 80 teams across the property industry laced up, clipped in, or simply showed up ready to move — on bikes, on foot, and through The Team Challenge — all in support of young people experiencing homelessness. And yes, even the Dulux Dog made an appearance, adding a little extra star power to an already unforgettable day (click here to see photos).
For the first time, the Tour de PIF also took on a brand-new home at St Ives Showground, with fresh courses that gave the day a different feel and a new energy, one that participants will have plenty to say about in this year’s post-event survey.
Held in the Foundation’s landmark 30th year, the significance of the day wasn’t lost on anyone. As Kate Mills, CEO, Property Industry Foundation said, “Tour de PIF is more than a fitness challenge. It is a movement. And in our 30th Anniversary year, it’s proof that when our industry comes together, young lives are rebuilt.”

Fundraising for homeless youth
The property and construction industry didn’t just turn up in force, it gave in force. As of Friday, the Tour has raised over $373,000 towards an ambitious $400,000 goal, leaving just under $27,000 to go. It’s a great result, and one built entirely on the generosity of participants, their supporters, sponsors and volunteers who backed this cause every step, pedal and stride of the way.
Celebrating our champions
Among the hundreds of participants, a few stood out for their exceptional fundraising efforts:
Congratulations to these individuals and teams for going above and beyond, and to every single participant and team who took part, whether at the front of the pack or cheering each other on to the finish line.

Where the money goes
Every dollar raised through Tour de PIF goes towards The Haven Project, and projects such as the Foundation’s biggest undertaking yet: Haven House South Dowling, now underway and set to deliver 19 new bedrooms for vulnerable young people aged 16–24.
The need has never been more urgent. Tonight, more than 46,000 young Australians don’t have a safe place to sleep. Every rider, runner and walker who took part on Friday is directly changing that reality, one bedroom, and one life at a time.
A community that shows up
None of this would be possible without the incredible network that makes the Sydney Tour de PIF happen year after year. Thank you to every participant who trained, fundraised and turned up on the day; to the volunteers who gave their time so generously; to the Sydney Tour de PIF committee who worked tirelessly behind the scenes; and to our sponsors, whose support underpins everything this event achieves.
There is one final push left in this year’s campaign…. If you took part on Friday, now is the moment to make one last ask of your supporters: a final show of collective commitment to young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, so we can reach our goal!
Thank you for being part of an iconic day, in an iconic year. We look forward to seeing you at the 2027 Sydney Tour de PIF.
