On 20 February 2026, the Melbourne property and construction industry came together in spectacular fashion at the iconic Portsea Golf Club for the annual Property Industry Foundation Victoria Golf Day. With more than 120 golfers across 30 teams, the sold-out event drew some of the industry’s most passionate leaders and supporters to one of Victoria’s most magnificent courses. The sun shone brightly over the Mornington Peninsula, setting the perfect backdrop for a day that was about far more than the game itself — it was about community, purpose, and the collective power of an industry united behind a cause.
The energy throughout the day was electric, and the emotions ran deep. Attendees were profoundly moved by an address from Brenda Boland, CEO of the Lighthouse Foundation, who spoke about a home the Foundation is currently refurbishing in Heathmont — a tangible reminder of what every dollar raised truly means. Together, the day’s participants raised an extraordinary $45,000, with all funds directed toward Haven Projects and the creation of safe spaces for homeless youth across Victoria. It was a moment that brought the real human impact of the industry’s generosity into sharp focus: behind every fairway and every fundraising dollar is a young person who now has somewhere safe to call home.
