As Ride sponsors of this year’s Tour de PIF, the FDC Group are joining the fight against youth homelessness, one pedal stroke at a time.
The FDC Group are hitting their stride once again as the official Ride Sponsor for the 2023 Tour de PIF being held on 8 September at Scheyville National Park in Sydney.
“There’s a saying at FDC: ‘We’re committed to leaving a legacy we can all be proud of,’” says Simon Friend, Project Director. “Helping others and sponsoring/partnering with our local communities helps us build a better future. The Property Industry Foundation’s annual Tour de PIF aligns with our goals, combining cycling, running and walking challenges with fundraising and networking. It’s a great opportunity for the FDC team and everyone in the industry to engage and to collaborate for this good cause. We’re proud to sponsor the event and bring our team together to ride and walk. It’s a great way to show how much we care about giving back to youth homelessness.”
Team FDC will have their riding cleats on at the event, showing their support for ending youth homelessness. “We believe in the Foundation’s goal to assist young people in need with a safe and secure place to live where they can rebuild their lives and we will continue to support the Foundation in reducing the number of homeless youth in Australia,” says Simon.
If you haven’t yet signed up for the Tour de PIF, there’s still time to make a difference. “Take a break from your busy work schedule and challenge yourself to participate in walking, running or riding for a good cause,” says Simon. “You’ll feel good about yourself no matter if you’re first or 100th!”
By participating in the Tour de PIF you will be raising funds to build a home for at-risk and homeless young people as part of our Haven House Project. Join us in Sydney on 8 September or Melbourne on 17 November.
