The Property Industry Foundation welcomes PMG Group to a national partnership.
After getting involved with Foundation events like trivia nights and volunteering days, PMG Group has made a further commitment to supporting homeless youth by signing on as a National Partner. We talked to Kate Gibson, Director – Clients & Strategy, PMG Group about why they wanted to take the next step.
Welcome! How did this national partnership with the Property Industry Foundation come about?
We were introduced to the Foundation through one of our long-term clients, Steve Lee from Growthpoint. Over the years, we’ve watched the impact of their work and participated in local events. When the opportunity arose to formalise our involvement, a national partnership felt like the natural next step.
“By connecting expertise, resources and shared purpose, we can help the Foundation expand its impact and deliver more homes for young people in need.”

Why has PMG Group committed to supporting homeless youth in particular?
We care deeply about the future of our industry and the people who will shape it. Supporting young people facing hardship is an investment in that future. It aligns with our commitment to building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
How would you like to get behind the cause?
We see an opportunity to use our reach within the property and construction industry to bring the right people together. With strong relationships across consultants, contractors and clients, we can help create momentum and collaboration around projects that deliver real social outcomes. By connecting expertise, resources and shared purpose, we can help the Foundation expand its impact and deliver more homes for young people in need.
Why is it important that the property and construction industry get involved in supporting youth homelessness?
We have the skills, resources and networks to make a meaningful difference. Supporting young people who face instability helps strengthen the social fabric that our industry is part of. It also speaks to the growing need to address mental health within construction – creating purpose and connection beyond the job site. By contributing to causes like this, we help build a culture of care and belonging, both within our industry and the communities we help shape.
How can we share our resources and skills to make a difference?
With nearly 30 years in the industry, we’ve built a strong network of clients, consultants and contractors. We see real value in using that network to spread awareness and encourage broader involvement in the Foundation’s work. Alongside this, we’re exploring how our people and expertise can contribute directly – through design, delivery, volunteering and mentoring. Collaboration across our industry is how lasting change is made.
What Foundation events and initiatives are PMG looking forward to?
Our team always enjoys the Foundation’s Trivia Nights and volunteering days – they’re a great way to connect and give back. The annual cycling events like Pedal for Homeless Youth and Tour de PIF is another highlight, encouraging our people to get outside, challenge themselves and support a cause that matters.
