CommBank becomes a Platinum Partner

Commonwealth Bank of Australia joins the Property Industry Foundation as a Platinum Partner in Queensland

The Property Industry Foundation has welcomed the Commonwealth Bank of Australia as a new Platinum Partner in Queensland, marking a significant step forward in the shared effort to address youth homelessness.

The partnership reflects a growing alignment between the property and finance sectors, bringing together industry capability, networks, and a shared purpose to deliver meaningful outcomes for vulnerable young Australians.

Commonwealth Bank’s decision to deepen its involvement follows direct engagement with the Foundation’s work on the ground.

We saw firsthand the impact they’re having on supporting vulnerable and homeless young people, and how that intervention can change life trajectories,”

“There’s a strong alignment between what the Property Industry Foundation stands for, and our own focus on strengthening communities. At CBA, our purpose is to build a brighter future for all. Supporting young people facing homelessness is about giving them a foundation to participate fully in the economy, their communities and life in general. That alignment between purpose and impact is why stepping up as a Platinum Partner of the Property Industry Foundation made sense.”

Vance Pyne, Executive Manager, Property QLD, Commonwealth Bank.

The partnership aims to support collaboration across industry and initiatives focused on improving housing outcomes for young people facing homelessness, many of whom enter an already difficult rental market without the support networks needed to navigate it.

The Foundation’s approach, which combines practical housing solutions with broader advocacy, aligns closely with Commonwealth Bank’s, support of initiatives that offer practical housing solutions and foster long-term stability and improved outcomes for young people.

Commonwealth Bank’s involvement will extend beyond advocacy, with employees encouraged to engage directly through volunteering and industry events. The team will begin their involvement with a Working Bee at Haven House Woolloongabba, helping prepare rooms for young people moving in and gaining firsthand insight into the impact of the Foundation’s work.

By working with the Property Industry Foundation as a Platinum Partner in Queensland, Commonwealth Bankjoins a growing network of organisations committed to creating safe, stable housing for young people, demonstrating the power of industry collaboration to drive lasting change
