The 2025 Brisbane Charity Regatta set sail on Friday 16 May from Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, one of Queensland’s oldest and most prestigious sailing and cruising clubs.

36 companies pulled together to hit a life-changing fundraising target of 150K for homeless youth building projects and initiatives. This year’s event marked the highest fundraising Brisbane Charity Regatta the Foundation has ever run — a true milestone in our mission to provide more safe and secure housing for vulnerable young people.

The day kicked off with a delicious breakfast, hosted by Rino and Alceon, where guests, skippers and crew enjoyed the stunning marina backdrop and mingled with industry colleagues and friends. After an official event opening, 41 donated super yachts headed out on the water for a fun and friendly race around beautiful Moreton Bay, expertly guided by our fabulous volunteer skippers and crew.

“We love seeing the industry unite in this fantastic environment and sail together to create more beds for local youth,” said Christian Adamson, GM at Built. “As a proud sponsor of the Brisbane Charity Regatta for the ninth consecutive year, we have seen its value first-hand – not only to the attendees but more so the lasting impact it has in the community. The event provides an ideal platform for professionals to connect with peers while contributing to a shared cause, fostering industry relationships and achieving social good.”

“The Brisbane Charity Regatta is the Property Industry Foundation’s premier sailing event – raising vital funds to build homes for homeless youth,” said Rebecca Field, the Foundation’s QLD Events & Engagement Manager. “The event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our community of passionate property and construction professionals, who get behind the cause each year. Thank you to everyone who joined us to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable and at-risk young people in Queensland.”

After the race, the event culminated in a lively after party, sponsored by Unispace and presentations to winning crews.
