Sails Up, Target Smashed, Bedrooms to be Built – the 2026 Brisbane Charity Regatta

The 2026 Brisbane Charity Regatta launched on Friday 15 May from the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, one of Queensland’s most prestigious sailing clubs — and delivered in every way.

More than 300 guests from 126 companies smashed the $150,000 fundraising target, raising nearly $180,000 for homeless youth housing projects. This year’s event also marked two milestones: a decade of Built as Principal Partner of the Brisbane Regatta, and the Property Industry Foundation’s 30th year of rebuilding young lives.

The Brisbane weather cooperated beautifully, with the rain clearing for a stunning day on the water. The morning opened with a breakfast sponsored by Alceon QLD and coffee & cuddles with the Dulux dog, Harvey, as guests, skippers and crew soaked up the marina atmosphere and reconnected with industry colleagues. Following the official opening, 40 donated superyachts set off across Moreton Bay for a fun and competitive race, guided by an exceptional team of volunteer skippers and crew.

“Being out on the water is one of the highlights of the regatta for the Built team — a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry peers, strengthen relationships and enjoy great sailing, all while raising funds for homeless youth.”
– Christian Adamson, General Manager QLD, Built

“The Brisbane Charity Regatta is the Property Industry Foundation’s premier sailing event — raising vital funds to build homes for homeless youth. We have 58 bedroomss in the pipeline across three Haven Projects here in Queensland. Thank you to everyone who joined us to make an impact.”
– Antoinette Rusby-Perera, QLD State Manager, Property Industry Foundation
