Project Overview

Haven House Frankston is four townhouses and 10 bedrooms for at-risk youth aged 16–21 in the Frankston area. This Salvation Army Frankston Youth Education Pathway Accommodation was funded in partnership with Homes Victoria’s Capital Grants program, the project follows an Education Pathway Housing model, providing stable accommodation for young people to complete their studies, gain employment, and transition to independent living. With youth unemployment in Frankston well above the Victorian average, the project addresses a critical local need and helps break entrenched cycles of disadvantage.

01: A New Beginning

Exciting things are underway in Frankston! Haven House Frankston, four brand-new townhouses offering 10 bedrooms, is set to become a place where at-risk youth aged 16–21 can build a stable future. Developed in partnership with the Salvation Army and funded through Homes Victoria’s Capital Grants program, this Education Pathway Housing initiative will give young people the stability they need to finish their studies, find employment, and confidently step into independent living. With youth unemployment in Frankston well above the Victorian average, Haven House Frankston is a vital step forward, helping break entrenched cycles of disadvantage and opening doors to brighter futures.

A $250,000 commitment from the Property Industry Foundation is helping bring four new townhouses and 10 bedrooms to life in Frankston, a Salvation Army project that could have stalled without it. Built to support at-risk youth aged 16-21, the homes offer more than shelter, pairing stable housing with education, training and a genuine pathway to independence.

Doors have officially opened at Cricklewood, Frankston, four new townhouses and 10 bedrooms giving young people aged 16-21 a stable place to study, work and build toward independence.
