Project Overview
Haven House St Kilda (Cocoon 2), delivered in partnership with Bridge It. This project transforms a derelict, apartment block into 14 self-contained studio apartments for young women and gender-diverse young people who have been impacted by the out-of-home-care system or homelessness. The project adds 14 beds to Victoria’s pipeline, and over its 20-year lease, Haven House St Kilda (Cocoon 2) is estimated to support approximately 240 young people into stable housing and independence.

01 Announcement
A once-derelict apartment building in St Kilda is being transformed into 14 self-contained homes for young women and gender-diverse young people impacted by homelessness. With more than 30 businesses already contributing pro bono, the Property Industry Foundation has stepped in as a major project partner to close the remaining funding gaps and help Bridge It’s second supportive housing community open its doors.
