Hope Street Youth and Family Services
Project Overview
Haven House South Morang is a 12-bedroom crisis accommodation facility in the City of Whittlesea, Victoria. This Hope Street Youth and Family Services accommodation supports up to 100 young people annually, offering communal living, two 2-bedroom family units (including one for Aboriginal families), and dedicated workspaces for support staff. Key partners included the Property Industry Foundation, Mirvac, City of Whittlesea, and the State Government’s Big Housing Build. Beyond shelter, the service provides wraparound support to help young people address the root causes of homelessness and build pathways toward stable, independent futures.

01: Hope Takes Shape
The start of a new hope begins in South Morang. Haven House South Morang, a warm, 12-bedroom home in the City of Whittlesea, will welcome up to 100 young people each year, offering not just a roof overhead but a true sense of belonging. With communal living spaces, two 2-bedroom family units (including one dedicated to Aboriginal families), and on-site support workers close at hand, this is a place built for connection as much as shelter. Haven House South Morang offers young people so much more than a bed for the night; it offers the wraparound support and stability they need to write the next chapter of their lives.
